Men + Leggings = Meggings.

I was recently scrolling through one of my favourite online shops (ASOS.com). when I stumbled across something that really surprised me, mens legging’s but I didn’t just find one pair there was a whole range!!

This isn’t the first time I’ve seen megging’s before though, I know that ‘Boy London’ did a pair and I’m probably sure ‘Boy London’ weren’t the first either. That being said I’m not sure how I feel about “meggings”, I myself don’t really feel that I could “pull them off” but my one concern is Where does all the junk in your front trunk go? If they are anything like women’s leggings surely it won’t leave very much up to the imagination (if you know what i mean) 😉

I know that some men would not have a problem with the world being able to see their anatomy but for me I feel that some things should just be kept secret and to be honest if you think about it, you don’t really want to have any naughty thoughts while out and about if your wearing them because there’s nowhere to hide.

My opinion is that some things should just be left in women’s fashion and not touched why do guys feel that if it’s been re-branded to be manly it’s okay? for example: “Manscara” and “Guy-Liner” etc. we can now add meggings to this ever growing list of products. At the end of the day it’s still mascara, it’s still eye-liner and there still leggings. If men want to use or wear these things shouldn’t guys have the knowledge that there masculinity is not harmed by the usage of such things. If your straight and you know you are 100% wearing leggings because you want to shouldn’t harm that, right? Or do they need to have a special mens version just so we can justify wearing them?

Do we like the idea of ‘meggings’ or do you hate them? Let me know, I want your opinions too – Tweet me: @LukeHardwidge
